Account Information

When you create a ShootBook AI account, we collect your name, email address, and password. You may also provide your business name, location, and photography style during onboarding.

Client & Lead Information

As part of using the platform, you may enter or receive information about your clients and leads — including names, email addresses, phone numbers, event details, and messages exchanged through your booking intake form.

Usage Data

We collect data about how you interact with ShootBook AI, including AI-generated messages, dashboard activity, features used, and session information such as device type, operating system, and IP address.

Payment Information

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. ShootBook AI does not store your full credit card number or billing details — only a Stripe customer ID and your selected subscription plan.

Notifications

If you enable push notifications, we collect a device push token to deliver alerts about new leads, AI activity, and important account events.

AI Assistant Functionality

Your business information, packages, FAQs, and tone preferences are used to power the AI assistant that responds to your leads on your behalf.

Lead & Booking Management

We use client data you provide to help you track, manage, and follow up with leads through the ShootBook AI platform.

Account & Billing

We use your email and payment details to manage your subscription, send receipts, and notify you of billing changes.

Notifications & Updates

We may send push notifications and emails about lead activity, AI actions requiring your attention, product updates, and support responses.

Service Improvement

Aggregated, anonymized usage data may be used to improve ShootBook AI features, performance, and the quality of AI responses.

Secure Cloud Storage

All data is stored securely using Supabase, a trusted cloud database platform with encryption at rest and in transit. Access to your data is restricted to authorized systems and personnel only.

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data and associated records will be permanently removed from our systems within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Stripe

We use Stripe to process subscription payments. Stripe has its own privacy policy and security certifications. Your payment data is governed by Stripe's terms at stripe.com/privacy.

Supabase

We use Supabase to store and manage application data securely. Supabase infrastructure is hosted on AWS and complies with industry-standard security practices.

AI Processing

AI-generated responses are powered by third-party language model providers. Conversation data used to generate responses is transmitted securely and is not used to train external models.

Push Notifications

We use Expo's push notification service to deliver alerts to your mobile device. Device tokens are stored securely and used only to send you relevant notifications.

We Do Not Sell Your Data

ShootBook AI does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

Service Providers

We may share data with trusted third-party service providers (such as Stripe and Supabase) strictly as necessary to operate the platform. These providers are bound by their own privacy and security obligations.

Legal Requirements

We may disclose information if required to do so by law or in response to valid legal requests, such as a subpoena or court order.

Access & Correction

You can view and update your account information at any time from the Settings page in the ShootBook AI app or dashboard.

Account Deletion

You may request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us at shootbookai@gmail.com. We will process your request within 30 days.

Opt-Out of Notifications

You can disable push notifications at any time from your device settings or from the Notifications section in the ShootBook AI app.

ShootBook AI is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of ShootBook AI after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
